Itanagar, Jan 19: Rahul Gandhi’s significant political initiative, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,’ is poised to enter Arunachal Pradesh on January 20, marking a crucial leg of the Indian National Congress’s efforts to address pressing issues like inflation and unemployment.

Commencing from Manipur on January 14, this yatra follows the path of the earlier ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ which traversed from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to reach Itanagar via Gumto Gate-Doimukh-Nirjuli-Naharlagun on January 20, beginning from 2:00 pm. Public rallies are planned at SDO Ground, Doimukh, with a Padyatra from ‘0’ Point Tinali, Itanagar, leading to Matto Tarin Govt. Hr.Sec School Ground, ESS Sector, Itanagar, where Gandhi will address the public.

Covering 110 districts across 15 states, including tribal-dominated regions like Jharkhand, South Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ spans a 66-day journey, emphasizing the Congress’s commitment to engaging diverse communities and addressing tribal concerns.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, has highlighted the extensive reach of the yatra, encompassing 100 Lok Sabha and 337 Assembly constituencies, covering a distance of 6,713 kilometers. The campaign, renamed ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,’ aims to foster unity and justice while connecting with the grassroots.

As the yatra enters Arunachal Pradesh, it underlines the Congress’s vision of a united India, free from communalism, unemployment, and social disharmony.
