Kyiv, Feb 25: Unlike most other significant conflicts in European history, there are now video cameras owned by almost every single person to capture significant moments, and Thursday saw this in full flow as a video emerged of a Ukrainian father saying an emotional goodbye to his daughter.
Russia moved on to Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday morning, forcing a large number of civilian Ukrainian families to flee their own country, as was shown in the video.
The young girl was leaving the city of Kyiv with her mother, whereas Ukrainian father was staying behind to fight in the conflict, unsure whether he would ever be reunited with his family, such as the harrowing nature of the armed conflict.

The video showed the father burst into tears as his daughter was ushered towards one of the rescue buses which had been set up for civilians.
