Guwahati, May 22: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, has declared the Assam HSLC Topper 2023 alongside the announcement of the results. On May 22 at 10:00 am, the Assam HSLC result 2023 was unveiled on the official websites – sebaonline.org and
resultassam.nic.in.

The deserving recipient of this year’s accolade is Hridam Thakuria from Dekhia Juli
in the first position, who achieved an outstanding score of 596. Hridam Thakuria, a student of Sankar Dev Sisku Niketan, has emerged as a shining example of excellence in the Assam HSLC exam for 2023.

The evening shift exams were conducted on March 10 and March 1 in two shifts – morning and evening. Morning shift exams took place from 9 am to 12 pm, while the evening shift exams were held from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Practical exams were conducted on February 24 and February 25.

A total of 415324 candidates appeared for the Assam 10th exam 2023 out of which 301880 students have passed. This year, the pass percentage for Assam Class 10 students stands at an impressive 72.69%. The boys; pass percentage is 74.71%, while the girl’s pass percentage is 70.96%.

The district-wise performance in the Assam Class 10 exams 2023 demonstrates varying levels of success. Chirang district stands out with an impressive pass percentage of 88.68%, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the students in that region. On the other end of the spectrum, the Dhubri region obtained the lowest pass percentage at 63.35%.

Notably, 61 students have achieved the top 10 ranks in the Assam HSLC exams in 2023, with Barpeta, Nalbari, and Kamrup (M) districts having the highest representation. It is worth mentioning that SEBA has withheld the results of 14 candidates who appeared for the exams, indicating that their outcomes are currently under review.

Districts with the highest pass percentage are:

  • Chirang- 88.68% pass
  • Shivsagar -88.40% pass
  • Dima Hasao- 88.12% pass
  • Nalbari- 88.02% pass

In addition to releasing the results on the official website, the board has also published the Assam HSLC Toppers List 2023, recognizing the exceptional achievements of students who have performed exceptionally well in the examinations.

To check the Assam HSLC result 2023, students can follow a few simple steps. Firstly, they need to visit the official websites of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) – sebaonline.org and resultassam.nic.in. Once on the website, students must locate the result login window and enter their roll number along with the captcha code provided. By submitting this information, students can access their individual results. Alternatively, students can also opt to check their results through SMS. The SEBA HSLC result 2023 includes crucial details such as the student’s name, roll number, and marks obtained in the examinations.

As we reflect on the performance of students in the Assam Class 10 Exam, it is worth noting the remarkable achievements of the top scorers. In the year 2022, Raktotpal Saikia secured the highest marks, earning an impressive score of 597. Moreover, a total of 4,05,582 students participated in the HSLC Exam 2022 which has increased by ten thousand this year, with a total of 415324. It is also important to note that the overall pass percentage for 2022 was 56.49% which has increased by many folds in 2023.
