Kolkata, June 10: A policeman shot a woman to death and later shot himself at Park Circus in Kolkata on Friday.
As per the information, eight to ten rounds of bullets from an SLR rifle were erratically shot near the Bangladesh Deputy HighCommission in Kolkata by a cop with his service gun.

Panic gripped the locals of Kareya police limits after 2 died at Park Circus following a random firing that took place just 50 meters away from Bangladesh Deputy High Commission.
As per sources, several people present at the spot have sustained bullet injuries and were rushed to National Medical College for treatment. However, the exact reason behind the firing is yet to be ascertained.
