Kolkata, May 31: The son of former MLA and BJP leader Baishali Dalmiya has been allegedly attacked by some people in the Behala area of Kolkata. Baishali confirmed this through her Facebook Live session. The politician’s son was sitting next to her.
Baishali said: “My son went to buy some things from the market this morning. While returning, his car was attacked by miscreants. My son has an injury under his eye and mouth. She also added that a piece of car glass has penetrated into the stomach.”
“What is happening in a city like Kolkata? I’ve never seen anything like it before“, she said.
As per reports, the police have caught the miscreants and have taken them to the police station.
Meanwhile, BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari directly blamed Trinamool Congress goons for the incident and said, “I am shocked to hear the news of the attack on the son of former MLA and BJP leader Baishali Dalmiya. He was brutally beaten by Trinamool goons. I strongly condemn this shameful incident. ‘
