Imphal, April 16: Ten candidates from Manipur have achieved success in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023, marking a significant achievement for the state.

The UPSC conducted the rigorous examination in September 2023, followed by a series of personality test interviews conducted from January to April 2024. The results of this highly anticipated examination were officially announced on Tuesday, April 16.

Out of the total candidates recommended for appointment by the UPSC, which amounted to 1016, 180 candidates secured positions in the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 200 in the Indian Police Service (IPS), and 37 in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Notably, Manipur has contributed significantly to this achievement, with ten candidates securing commendable ranks in the UPSC CSE 2023.
