Agartala, Feb 19: TIPRA Motha candidate from Bishalgarh assembly constituency, Md. Shah Alam Miah was reportedly attacked by the miscreants in Agartala.
His vehicles have been vandalized and the driver was injured in this incident.
Md. Shah Alam said that “I was returning home and at that time some miscreants attacked my car. driver have been injured in this incident and also vandalized my car. It is definitely something related to politics. one person has been arrested from the Joypur area of Agartala. police will do the inquiry. all these attacks can be controlled by the administration only.”
Police are investigating the matter.

This is not the first time Md. Shah Alam was attacked on 6th February as well. TIPRA Mohta candidate from Bishalgarh MD Shah Alam’s car was vandalized. He blocked the road and sat in a protest outside Bishalgarh Police Station.
Shah Alam claimed that the “driver’s two mobiles have been taken away, along with his money bag and his bone has also been broken by hitting him.”
