Kohima, June 28: In a deeply saddening incident, Padam Gurung, a 21-year-old student and President of the Students Representative Council (SRC) at Namchi Government College, was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances in the Kazitar area of Sikkim on June 28.

Gurung had been reported missing since the previous night, adding to the distress surrounding the incident. Authorities responded swiftly, recording the body and transporting it to the mortuary section of the Namchi district hospital for further examination.
