Itanagar, Jan 19: Arunachal Pradesh is mourning the untimely death of Police Inspector Sochi Don, the Officer-in-Charge at Seppa police station in East Kameng district. The 37-year-old officer lost his life in a fatal road accident on Thursday evening, casting a pall of sorrow over the region.
Sochi Don was returning from field duty around 10 pm when the unfortunate accident occurred. The self-driven police department’s Mahendro Bolero he was operating veered off near Tata Tara village on NH-13, leading to his immediate demise. The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
Eyewitnesses at the scene promptly reported the incident to the police. Despite their swift response, the officer’s lifeless body was found inside the vehicle, indicating the severity of the impact.
