Agartala, Feb 27: Tripura BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya has launched a scathing attack on the CPIM, accusing them of exploiting youths and steering them towards a destructive path.
Speaking at an event in Melaghar, Sepahijala district, aimed at engaging new voters, Bhattacharya lambasted the previous UPA-led Congress government for allegedly hindering India’s progress with rampant corruption and scams.
“During the UPA era, India was mired in scams, with some political parties attempting to sell off the country’s interests. However, since Narendra Modi assumed office as Prime Minister, he has rescued the nation from such malaise. While the younger generation may not fully comprehend the depths of corruption under the Congress regime, it’s undeniable that India has made significant strides across all sectors under PM Modi’s leadership,” he asserted.
Bhattacharya underscored PM Modi’s commitment to empowering the youth and expressed confidence in Modi‘s re-election as Prime Minister in 2024, citing the groundwork already laid out.

“PM Modi isn’t just focused on 2024; he envisions India’s position in 2047, with youth playing a pivotal role in elevating the nation to new heights,” he emphasized.
Reflecting on Tripura’s history, Bhattacharya lamented how the state endured myriad challenges over the past 25 years, with the CPIM allegedly manipulating the youth for political gain, thereby impeding development.
“The CPIM’s exploitation of youths, exemplified by the termination of 10323 teachers, stands in stark contrast to our government’s approach. Since assuming power, we’ve prioritized job creation, providing opportunities based on merit rather than political allegiance. Our goal is to foster positive change,” he concluded.
