Agartala, Feb 09: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda releases the manifesto for the Tripura assembly elections on Friday ahead of the state assembly election this month.

A  notice issued by the party mentioned that “On the occasion of 2023 assembly elections, the ‘Tripura Sankalpatra’ has been prepared by compiling the hopes and aspirations of the people. The manifesto will be unveiled tomorrow February 9 at 12:30 PM at Rabindra Bhavan by the All India President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri JP Nadda ji. All India President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri JP Nadda, Hon’ble Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha, and other senior leadership of BJP will be present at tomorrow’s event. ‘Tripura Sankalpatra’ in the presence of people from different sections of the society.”

The last manifesto of BJP for Tripura included promises like jobs, AIIMS-like facilities in hospitals, pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission, hiking monthly social pension to ₹ 2,000, providing houses to 3.8 lakh families, drinking water to 53 percent houses holds, and others.

The elections for the 60 seats are scheduled to be held on February 16. Whereas in Meghalaya and Nagaland, voting will be held on 27 February. Counting votes for all three states will be held simultaneously on March 2.
