Tripura jawan martyred

Tripura, 8th November: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, Sudip Sarkar from Tripura, was martyred while trying to foil an infiltration attempt in the Machil sector in the Kupwara region of Jammu & Kashmir on Sunday.

Border Security Force took the tweet and share the news, “In the wee hours of 8 Nov’20, @BSF_Kashmir foiled an infiltration attempt in the Machil Sec. 01 terrorist killed and remaining of the group pushed back. Ct Sudip Sarkar continued fighting in spite been hit and ultimately made the supreme sacrifice. @HMOIndia @JmuKmrPolice @ANI.

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb also share his condemnation with the family of the martyred jawan.

After midnight yesterday, Captain Sudip Sarkar, a brave soldier of our state, was injured while trying to stop the infiltration of extremists in the fish section of Kashmir and made the highest sacrifice in the ensuing period. I wish the soul of this heroic child of Mother India all the best and extend my condolences to his bereaved family. Om Shanti”, CM wrote in a tweet.

An officer of the Indian Army and three security personnel, including a constable of the Border Security Force or BSF, were killed in the line of duty during a major anti-terror operation along the Line of Control or LoC. Three terrorists were also gunned down in the anti-terror operation.
