Tripura G20 summit

Agartala, April 01: Tripura, one of the northeastern states of India, is all set to host the first-ever G20 summit of a state, starting from April 3.

The state is getting ready to welcome the world by illuminating important locations and adorning walls with paintings, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state. The theme for the G20 Science event is “Clean Energy for a greener future”, which is scheduled to take place at the Hapania International Fairground on April 3 and 4.

The summit will witness the participation of delegates from various countries. The first session of the summit will be held on April 3, followed by the opening of exhibition stalls and an Investor Meet. Later in the evening, a light and sound show will be organized at the Ujjayanta Palace for the G20 delegates.

The second day of the summit will begin with a Yoga session at Oxygen Park in which the delegates of the G20 countries will participate.

The park is known for its natural beauty and fresh air, making it an ideal place for yoga practice. After the yoga session, the delegates will participate in a sapling plantation initiative in the park, highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability.

Apart from this, the delegates will also visit famous places such as Neermahal, Sepahijala Sanctuary, and Purbasa on April 4.

Neermahal, also known as the “Water Palace,” is located in the middle of a lake and is a famous tourist attraction. Sepahijala Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary and botanical garden known for its rich flora and fauna. Purbasa is a cultural center that showcases the art and culture of the state.
