Itanagar, Sept 12: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to inaugurate the 500-meter-long Nechiphu Tunnel located on the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang Road in West Kameng district on Tuesday. He will also inaugurate 90 vital infrastructure projects in Arunachal Pradesh on September 12.

This significant infrastructural boost comes as a part of the government’s efforts to enhance connectivity and border infrastructure in the northeastern state.

Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Earth Sciences of India, expressed his excitement about this development on a social media platform, highlighting the importance of these projects for the region’s growth. He mentioned that out of the 90 infrastructure projects, 36 are specifically focused on Arunachal Pradesh.
