Kolkata, June 12: A teenage boy killed his roommate after having a fight with his girlfriend. The incident took place at Chanditala under the Behala police station area of Kolkata.
17-year-old was upset with girlfriend and involved in an argument with a 15-year-old roommate. The accused punched the younger boy in the stomach in a fight over who would clean the bed and draw the mosquito net. It turned serious and later became very ill and passed out.
A group of teenagers used to live in the rooftop room of a house on Chanditala Main Road. The deceased teenager used to live there with Alauddin Sheikh and a few others. The onlookers brought him to Vidyasagar State General Hospital in Behala where he was declared dead. Both of them were originally from the Sagardighi area of the Murshidabad district.

The accused was later arrested by cops after a case of involuntary murder was filed with the police station based on a written complaint filed by Alauddin Sheikh. Other eyewitnesses’ statements are also being taken.
