New Delhi, Jan 26: In this year’s Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path, Uttar Pradesh showcased an artistic child form idol of Lord Ram Lalla, featuring the pran pratishtha or consecration ceremony that occurred in the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 22.

The tableau depicted Lord Ram in a youthful form holding a bow and arrow, symbolizing Ayodhya as a city of “Viksit Bharat” with “Samriddh Virasat.”

The frill surrounding the tableau represented ‘Deepotsav,’ the festival of lights initiated by the state government to commemorate Lord Ram’s arrival in Ayodhya.

The trailer section of the tableau highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s path to progress, propelled by its cultural heritage.

It also featured the first-ever operational high-speed regional rapid transit system (RRTS) between Delhi-Meerut, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ghaziabad in October 2023.

Additionally, the tableau included two sadhus with a “kalash” symbol, representing the upcoming Magh Mela in Prayagraj and the Mahakumbh scheduled for 2025.
