Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan breathes her last in Mumbai; Bollywood mourns
Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan breathed her last around 2.30 AM after a cardiac arrest in Mumbai’s Guru Nanak hospital on Thursday night.
She was 71 and had been hospitalised with breathing problems since June 17.
In her long career she had choreographed over 2000 songs, working with actors like Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and many more. She was fondly known as ‘Master Ji‘.
The whole of Bollywood is mourning at the demise of their very own Master Ji.

Paying tribute to Saroj, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar termed her as a ‘genius Choreographer’.
He tweeted, “Saroj Khan was a genius Choreographer, who impressed & entertained all with her iconic work. Shocked to know about her demise. A big loss to the film industry. Condolences to her family, friends & fans. Om Shanti.”
