Viral Video, Nov 21: It was a grab-all-you-can opportunity for drivers on a US motorway after an armoured truck spilt bags of money onto the road, prompting people to stop and pick up the loose cash.
“This is the most insane thing I’ve ever seen. Someone dropped money all over the freeway – San Diego has shut down. Literally, it has shut down, look at the freeway right now, oh my gosh,” she says in the video.
According to the report, the bags of cash were sent flying onto Interstate 5 in Carlsbad, following which two people were arrested.
Footage shared on social media shows that several communicators stopped their cars and scrambled in the middle of the freeway to pick up the loose cash. Some people were seen celebrating and shouting in joy after collecting the cash.
A clip shared on Instagram by fitness influencer, Demi Bagby, shows cash strewn all over the freeway, with motorists rejoicing in the background.
