Agartala, Feb 02: BJP candidate from 6-Agartala Constituency, Papia Dutta stated, “No party can defeat our party in Tripura Election 2023.”
While talking about the NorthEast Rising BJP candidate said that “There is no such thing as everyone says that he is a veteran but our party has more than 850 Panna leaders and 56 polling booths, no one can compete with our party. No matter whether it is CPM or Congress or any other party, they all come, we are ready. No other party can compete with our party.”
A prominent leader of BJP’s Mahila Morcha, Datta is set to take on the heavyweight candidate of the Congress and sitting MLA Sudip Roy Barman from the Agartala constituency.
Papia Dutta slams Sudip Roy Barman saying that “People will vote this time keeping in view the development. The voters of Agartala 6 will not commit any mistake this time because those people who elected them in 2018 did not do anything. And people do not want a candidate who changes party again and again because of his personal interest. People want a stable party and a stable candidate. A lot has happened and a lot is going to happen, but even after being the MLA of 6 Agartala, till today, we did not feel that there is any MLA here. BJP had made these leaders win, but now they are joining another party, sometimes CPM, Congress, Trinamool, people have also understood whom they are voting for. People will cast their vote this time considering the development. The voters of Agartala will not make a mistake this time like in 2018 because people don’t want to change parties again and again because of their personal interests. People want a stable party and candidate.”

Asked about the students going out of the state for higher education and employment, Papia Dutta said “After our government came, we have seen a modern education system here. Whether it is the establishment of 100 schools through the Vidya Jyoti scheme or the establishment of the National Law Academy, the new Forensic University in Tripura, you people cannot think what has developed. It is taking time to understand because we have not seen all the development in the last 25 years.”
Talking about the development in the state in the last 5 years she told us that “The state government here has done a lot of work. I just want to say that we have included every category of people whether it is the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Saubhagya Jyoti Yojana, Mudra Loan, or Samajhik Pension Yojana. BJP is have done a lot of work. Samajhik Pension Yojana 2002 and the paddy which is given to the farmers through the medium of FCI in each sector. A lot of work has been done especially for minority people. And look where I am sitting, this is your ward number and the corporator is sitting with me. One year due to covid, there was very little time for the urban board election, but a lot of work has been done. More than crores of work has been done for every category of people. People will cast their vote this time considering the development. The voters of Agartala will not make a mistake this time like in 2018. Because people don’t want to change parties again and again because of their personal interests.”

This time we will fight on the issue of development because 25 years ago the communist government was here, they limited the REGA BPL account to Samajhik pension accounts, but today we talk about the socio-economic sector, logistics centers, information technology centers, especially those who are new voters. We will vote for Modi ji again and not only in Ward No. 6, we will win this election with more than 55% votes in the entire state and we will come to the government this time.
