West Bengal schools will reopen at the appropriate time: Partha Chatterjee

Bengal, Jan 18: West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that the schools in the state would reopen only students and teachers are not at any risk of contracting COVID19. The schools were closed down on March 16, 2020, due to the pandemic followed by the nationwide lockdown.

While speaking to the reporters, Partha Chatterjee said, “There have been instances of people getting infected after the resumption of classes in another state, where schools had to shut again.
