Will conduct surgical strikes against terrorists, says Tripura CM

Tripura, Dec 13: Tripura CM, Biplab Kumar Deb said the government will carry out a surgical strike on terrorists if they do not release the civilians they have kidnapped from different parts of the state.

Deb has again made many wonders what he intends to do said his government has information about these extremists and will not spare them for kidnapping people for ransom.

Tripura CM Biplab Deb further said this at a martyr’s memorial program held in Kalyanpur of Khowai district to pay tribute to 24 people killed in a terrorist attack in Kalyanpur in 1996.

Our government knows how to carry out surgical strikes as similar strikes were conducted by the Modi government in Pakistan. We will not carry out surgical strikes on the terrorists if they do not release the civilians in their captive soon,” said Biplab Deb.

CM said that extremist forces are trying to destabilize peace in Tripura and he asked the extremists to give up arms and return to the mainstream.
