26-year-old Mizo woman tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai:
Guwahati, April 14: A 26-year-old woman from Mizoram was tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Mizoram Chief Secretary Lalnunmawia Chuaungo said that, the woman hailing from Mizoram was tested positive for COVID-19 at a hospital in Mumbai.
The Mizoram Chief Secretary also said that, she is being treated at a hospital in Mumbai.
According to the reports, the woman was in the capital city of Maharashtra since February.
On March 25, a 50-year-old man from Mizoram’s capital city Aizawl was tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) at Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH).
A total of 39 positive cases for COVID-19 have been reported in the North-Eastern region so far and one patient from Assam died and the first patient from Manipur was discharged from the hospital and she was recovered from the dreaded virus.
