Assam Health department introduced Yoga therapy for COVID-19 patients :
Guwahati : Yoga therapy for COVID-19 patients introduced by Assam Health department at the government run hospitals by aiming to refresh the minds of the patients.
The yoga therapy has been introduced at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati and the yoga experts have given tips to the COVID-19 patients through video conference.
Assam Health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that, the yoga therapy has been introduced from Sunday.
Himanta Biswa Sarma took on Twitter and wrote – “Yoga therapy by our Yoga expert through video conference with covid positive Patients at MMC Hospital, Guwahati today morning. They are getting destressed and mental well-being refreshed. One can see them in the mobile phone. In the back drop you can see our ICU staff in ICU.”

A total of 26 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Assam so far and out of these 25 cases are related with the Nizamuddin Markaz.
