Chandigarh, Feb 24: The AAP and Congress have joined forces in a strategic move to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in several key states. The seat-sharing agreements have been announced to challenge the dominance of the ruling BJP-led coalition.
Seat-Sharing Arrangements
Delhi
- The AAP will contest from three seats in Delhi: New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and East Delhi.
- The Congress will field candidates in the remaining three seats of Chandni Chowk, North East, and North West Delhi.
Haryana
- Congress will fight in nine Lok Sabha constituencies, while one seat from Kurukshetra has been allocated to AAP.
Gujarat
- Congress will contest from 24 seats in Gujarat, while AAP will compete in Bhavnagar and Bharuch constituencies.
