Kolkata, July 10: The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) has recently announced its list of candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, which are scheduled to be held on July 24. The party has put forward the names of six candidates who will contest in these crucial elections.

In an official statement, the TMC expressed its delight in announcing the candidatures of Derek O’Brien, Dola Sen, Sukhendu Sekhar Ray, Samirul Islam, Saket Gokhale, and Prakash Chik Baraik. As per the election schedule, the last date for filing nominations is July 13, while the deadline for the withdrawal of nominations is July 17. If necessary, polling will be conducted on July 24.
