New Delhi, Feb 12: Union Minister Amit Shah confidently declared on Monday that there is little doubt about the outcome of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, asserting that the ruling BJP is poised to secure 370 seats while the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will clinch over 400 seats.

Shah, launching ₹1,950 crore worth of development projects for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), aimed at the Congress, attributing the initial five years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure to filling the “pit” left by the opposition party during its rule, and the subsequent five years to laying the foundation for development.

In his address, Shah emphasized the remarkable progress made under PM Modi’s leadership, attributing the success to the “Gujarat model” that propelled Modi to the Prime Minister’s office in 2014.

He lauded PM Modi’s vision, asserting that under his leadership, India is poised to become the world’s top-ranking nation by 2047.

Highlighting the government’s economic achievements, Shah pointed out that India has ascended from the 11th position to become the world’s fifth-largest economy, expressing confidence that the country will further rise to claim the third-largest economy status during PM Modi’s third term.

He also celebrated the recent consecration of the idol of Lord Ram at the Ayodhya temple, an event long-awaited by the nation.

Shah also paid homage to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj, on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his significant contributions to social reform. The occasion was marked by a grand event at the social reformer’s birthplace in Tankara, Gujarat.

Shah’s remarks underscored the BJP’s confidence in its electoral prospects and its commitment to continuing the transformative agenda set forth under PM Modi’s leadership.
