Ayodhya, Jan 15: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly acquired a plot in The Sarayu, a luxurious 7-star enclave in Ayodhya developed by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), a Mumbai-based company.

The plot, estimated at approximately Rs 14.5 crore, marks Amitabh Bachchan’s investment in this prestigious project, adding to the anticipation surrounding Ayodhya’s transformation.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this venture, Bachchan stated, “I am looking forward to embarking on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. The Sarayu is set to be launched on January 22, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.

Amitabh Bachchan’s investment adds a touch of glamour and significance to the project, aligning with the auspicious occasion.

In terms of his cinematic endeavors, the Bollywood icon, often referred to as the Shehenshah, was last seen in the 2023 release, “Ganapath,” alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon.

Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming projects include “Kalki 2898 AD” and the Hindi remake of “The Intern,” where he will reunite with Deepika Padukone, with whom he shared the screen in the beloved film “Piku.”
