Itanagar, May 07: The Arunachal Pradesh BJP took decisive action on May 7, expelling 28 party members for six years due to their decision to contest elections against official party candidates in both Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies.

In an official statement released today, the Arunachal BJP highlighted the names of individuals who contested in the simultaneous Parliamentary and Assembly Election 2024 against the party’s officially nominated candidates.

Following the recommendation of the State Disciplinary Action Committee, chaired by Shri Tarh Tarak, the party announced the expulsion of these members for six years, effective immediately from the date of the expulsion order.
