Itanagar, July 06: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has unveiled a bold initiative to advance sports in the state by launching “Mission Olympic 2028” and “Mission Olympic 2032” under the government’s ambitious 100-day action plan.
These programs are designed to identify and nurture talented athletes from Arunachal Pradesh to represent India at the Olympics.
Khandu emphasized that detailed plans for these missions would be finalized and executed within the first hundred days of his administration.
The primary objective is to discover and groom athletes capable of competing internationally, elevating Arunachal Pradesh’s stature in the global sports arena.
“We aim to maximize the participation of athletes from Arunachal Pradesh in the Olympics, showcasing our talent and proudly representing our nation,” stated Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
