Itanagar, Feb 23: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has officially declared Phurpa Tsering, the incumbent MLA, as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the 4th Dirang Assembly constituency in the West Kameng district.
The announcement was made during a development meeting in Dirang, attended by a large gathering of residents and party leaders, including BJP President Biyuram Wahge, and MLAs Kumsi Sidisow, Dongru Siangju, and Dorjee Wangdi Kharma.
During the event, 54 transformative projects were inaugurated, with 26 projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Additionally, the foundation for another 14 projects was laid, symbolizing a significant step towards the community’s progress and development.

CM Khandu expressed his confidence that these projects would enhance the resilience of the Dirang community, ensuring their continued growth and prosperity.
Taking to his social media handle, CM Khandu shared his enthusiasm for the developments, stating, “Inaugurated today 40 development projects and laid the foundation for another 14, marking 54 transformative projects. These milestones will further add to the people’s resilience of Dirang.”
