Guwahati, Sept 18: A major fire erupted in Guwahati’s Kalapahar area on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 18, following a series of cylinder explosions.

The blaze started at a residence in Gopinath Nagar, where cooking gas cylinders exploded, rapidly engulfing the building in flames.

The fire’s intensity led to its spread to a nearby mosque, causing significant concern among residents.

Firefighting teams quickly arrived at the scene and initiated efforts to control the fire. Their ongoing operations aim to contain the blaze and prevent further spread.
