Guwahati, Feb 08: Assam is gearing up to publish its final electoral roll on February 8, marking a crucial step ahead of the anticipated 2024 general election. This follows the initial roll released on December 8, 2023, post-delimitation.

Citizens have multiple avenues to verify their inclusion in the electoral roll, including visiting District Election Officer (DEO) offices, E.R.O. offices, Circle officer’s offices, or their respective polling stations. Additionally, the list will be accessible online through the official website www.ceoassam.nic.in, the Voter Helpline app, and voters.eci.gov.in.

The delimitation exercise has led to a revised count of electors in Assam, totaling 2,43,02,460 individuals, reflecting a marginal increase compared to previous figures. This includes 1,22,12,483 male electors, 1,20,89,569 female electors, and 408 electors from the third gender.
