Guwahati, July 08: Assam has reported a total of 273 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, with the positivity rate rising to 10.38%, as per a report of the National Health Mission (NHM) on July 07.
The Kamrup Metro reported the highest number of cases at 100 and one COVID-19 death, as per the NHM report.

The number of active cases in the state stands at 1,138.
Meanwhile, 46 cases are reported from Kamrup and 24 cases are reported from Dibrugarh and 17 cases are reported from Darrand. Furthermore, the COVID-19 recovery rate stands at 98.74% in Assam.
