Nagaland Nikki

Kohima, Sept 29: Security forces in Nagaland successfully apprehended three active cadres of the NSCN (K-Nikki), a prominent insurgent group in the region. The joint operation involved personnel from the Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police, and it resulted in the confiscation of firearms and ammunition from the arrested individuals.

The three apprehended NSCN (K-Nikki) cadres were found in possession of the following arms and ammunition:

  • Three pistols of 0.32 caliber
  • Ammunition
  • Warlike stores

The operation was carried out to curtail the illegal activities of the insurgent group, which has been involved in various anti-social activities, including extortion and violence.
