Guwahati, May 31: The Assam authorities have determined to spend around Rs 1,000 crore for infrastructure improvement in the sports activities quarter in the state, stated the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs Bimal Borah on Tuesday.

Borah stated, “The contemporary kingdom authorities-led through Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken diverse measures for infrastructure improvement withinside the sports activities quarter in the state.”

Ten sports activities complexes on the district degree can be built and the price of every district degree sports activities complicated can be around Rs 50 crore, Borah added.

“Apart from this, we’ve determined to assemble a multipurpose stadium in forty meeting constituencies and the price of every stadium can be around Rs 12 crore. The creation works are taking place and all tasks can be finished inside years,” he stated.
