Ayodhya, Dec 30: Ayodhya is abuzz with anticipation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up to visit and inaugurate the redeveloped railway station and a new airport in the town.

The grand event will witness a vibrant display of folk art and cultural performances by more than 1,400 artists from across the country at 40 stages set up along the route from the airport to the railway station, known as Ram Path.

The Prime Minister’s visit holds significant importance, and Ayodhya is leaving no stone unturned to welcome him with enthusiasm.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath‘s office revealed that various development projects, collectively valued at over Rs 15,700 crore, will be inaugurated during the public event, which Modi is expected to attend.

Prime Minister Modi’s schedule includes a roadshow from the airport to the railway station, where he will have the opportunity to interact with the people of Ayodhya and acknowledge their greetings. The entire route has been prepared for the roadshow, with temporary wooden barricades installed along the recently redeveloped Ram Path and other roads falling within the route.

In addition to the inauguration of the redeveloped railway station and the new airport, the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple is scheduled for January 22, further emphasizing the cultural and religious significance of the visit.

The Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya, Gaurav Dayal, provided details about the Prime Minister’s itinerary, mentioning that Modi is expected to reach Ayodhya airport around 10:45 am.

After landing, he will proceed directly to Ayodhya railway station for the inauguration ceremony before returning to the airport to inaugurate the new airport. A public rally, or ‘jan sabha,’ is also on the agenda, where the Prime Minister is set to address the gathered audience.

The administration has already started preparations for the event, putting up large posters featuring Prime Minister Modi’s image with a warm welcome message at prominent locations in Ayodhya.

With around 1.5 lakh people expected to attend the rally, Ayodhya is ready to host the Prime Minister and showcase its cultural richness and development strides.
