Jaipur, Dec 03: As the Assembly election results for four states, including Rajasthan, unfold on Sunday, December 3, one notable candidate garnering attention is Baba Balak Nath, leading in the Tijara constituency. The 39-year-old, also known as the ‘Yogi of Rajasthan,’ is a Member of Parliament from Alwar Lok Sabha constituency and is seen as a potential candidate for the Chief Minister’s post.

Baba Balak Nath, contesting against Congress’s Imran Khan, has emerged as a prominent figure in Rajasthan politics. Currently, the BJP is leading in the state with 113 seats out of the 199 contested (out of 200 constituencies, with one seat vacant due to a candidate’s death).

Born on April 16, 1984, in Kohrana village of Alwar, Balak Nath left home at the age of 6 to embrace an ascetic life. He is the head of the Baba Mastnath Math in Rohtak, adding to his popularity. Wearing saffron attire, he is recognized for his aggressive stance on the Hindutva agenda, making him a firebrand leader within the BJP.
