Guwahati, Feb 06: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has intensified his criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following a viral video depicting Gandhi offering a biscuit to a puppy during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Jharkhand.

The video, shared by Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on social media, shows Rahul Gandhi interacting with a puppy and giving it a biscuit.

However, another video shared by Sarma depicts Gandhi offering the uneaten biscuit to a supporter, triggering controversy and accusations from the BJP that Gandhi mistreated his supporters.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was once associated with the Congress before joining the BJP, seized the opportunity to criticize Gandhi, asserting that neither he nor his family could sway him, referring to his decision to leave the Congress.
