Itanagar, March 03: In the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, Kiren Rijiju and Tapir Gao have emerged as the party’s choices for the two Lok Sabha seats in Arunachal Pradesh.
Kiren Rijiju, a prominent BJP leader, will be vying for the Arunachal West seat, while Tapir Gao is set to contest from the Arunachal East seat.

The announcement of their candidacies came today along with the unveiling of the BJP’s initial list of 195 candidates for the upcoming polls.
In addition to the candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP has also revealed contenders for 11 seats in the neighboring state of Assam.
