Kolkata, Jan 08: Known for her gloves and punches, World Boxing Champion Mary Kom is now wearing dancing shoes too! Mary Kom participated in an event – Ekal Run in Kolkata and showed her dancing talent on stage.
“I will not be able to participate in IBA Women’s World Championship 2023 due to injury. I am trying to recover soon. I hope we can get more champions from this championship. I wish all the best to the participants”, said Indian boxing star.
Ekal Run organized its 4th edition run in Kolkata on 8th January.

Ekal Yuva, the youth wing of Friends of Tribals Society organized its annual flagship event Ekal Run on Sunday at Godrej Waterside, Kolkata wherein 3500+ participants ran for their chosen category of timed run – 21km, 10km, 5km, and non-timed /traditional run of 3km at this Marathon. People of all age groups participated in the run.
