He cautioned against wasting votes on such entities, underscoring the importance of making informed choices to uphold democratic values.

Before Gaurav Gogoi’s address, Congress MP candidate Rakibul Hussain delivered a passionate speech during an election rally in Karimganj, highlighting Hafiz Rashid Choudhary’s role in bridging the gap between Barak and Brahmaputra.

He questioned the BJP’s developmental initiatives, comparing them unfavorably to the contributions of Moinul Haque Chowdhury in Barak Valley.

Hussain criticized the delimitation process for allegedly infringing upon the political rights of Hindus and Muslims in Karimganj.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the BJP’s performance, he pointed out unfulfilled promises made to the electorate and urged voters to support Hafiz Rashid Choudhary in the upcoming by-election.

Additionally, he expressed intentions to contest the MLA’s post through legal means and criticized the involvement of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in the electoral process.
