Guwahati, March 24: The Central Election Committee of Congress has unveiled its fourth list of candidates for various Lok Sabha constituencies across multiple states, including Assam, Manipur, and Mizoram.

In Assam’s Lakhimpur constituency, the Congress has nominated Uday Shankar Hazarika, a former BJP leader who switched parties last year, to contest against BJP’s Pradan Baruah.

The list also includes candidates for positions in Assam, Andaman, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

For Manipur, Prof. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam and Alfred Kanngam S. Arthur have been chosen to contest from the Inner and Outer Manipur (ST) constituencies, respectively.

In Mizoram, Lalbiakzama has been nominated as the candidate for the Mizoram (ST) seat.
