Viral, Dec 15: In a heartwarming gesture, the CRPF personnel and officers came together for the marriage of the daughter of Constable Shailendra Pratap Singh who made supreme sacrifice for the country on October 5, 2020, where he took on terrorists during his deployment in 110 Battalion CRPF located in Lethpora, Pulwama, a very sensitive and terror-prone area of South Kashmir.
The marriage ceremony of Jyoti Singh, sister of martyred Shailendra Pratap Singh, was held on 13 December 2021 at their residence.
It was an emotional moment for everyone present in the marriage ceremony when CRPF jawans suddenly reached the wedding ceremony of the sister of martyred Shailendra Pratap Singh and took part in the rituals and blessed their sister like a brother, and gave gifts to their sister.
In a traditional send-off, the soldiers carried a sheet of flowers to the stage and the bidai or the sendoff was done.

The CRPF jawans played the role of brother by taking a good initiative at their level. Everyone had tears of joy and sorrow in their eyes, while playing the role of brother, the jawans tried to fill the gap of martyr Shailendra.
Shailendra’s father and other family members got emotional and said that my son was no longer in this world but now have a new son in the form of CRPF soldiers who always stand by us in all happiness and sorrow.
