Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s invitation sheds light on a relatively undiscovered haven within the state. Located a mere 3 kilometers from Bana, this hidden oasis is a testament to Arunachal’s diverse and awe-inspiring natural landscapes.

Arunachal CM wrote, “Experience the tranquillity of East Kameng’s lush greenery and pristine blue waters, just 3 km away from Bana. This hidden gem in Arunachal Pradesh offers a refreshing escape from the routine & mundane. Come, take a dip, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this serene location!”

Bana Village village is located in the Richukrong circle of East Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh.  It comes under the Bana Community Development Block. The nearest town is Seppa, which is about 31 kilometers away from Bana Village.

East Kameng is situated in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. The name ‘Kameng’ has been derived from the Kameng River, a tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra. It exactly lies to the east of the West Kameng district. Sonitpur district of Assam in the south.

Kameng river originates from the glacial lake ‘Gorichan’ and it flows through the district to the plains of Assam, where it meets the Brahmaputra in the Sonitpur District of Assam. Its tributaries are Pacha,Pachi,Pachuk,Pakke & Bichum.
