Itanagar, Jan 03: A devastating fire swept through Sido village in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Siang district, destroying at least four houses and a granary. The incident occurred causing property losses worth lakhs of rupees and affecting crucial documents and food grains.
Ruksin Police Station Officer-in-Charge C Joseph reported that the fire, sparked by an electrical short-circuit, left one person with minor injuries. Fire tenders and residents joined forces to bring the blaze under control.

In the aftermath, East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, Lok Sabha member Tapir Gao, and Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering swiftly visited the site to provide relief materials to the affected families.
