Agartala, Jan o4: Ex-Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Deb’s house was set on fire by unidentified miscreants. The attack took place at a house in Jamjuri of Udaipur under the Gomti district. 

Before setting the house on fire, the miscreants also attacked it and managed to break several windows.

The attack is said to have been executed by a ‘particular community’.

Further, the miscreants also damaged vehicles. According to reports, the local police are investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses also are being questioned.

As per sources, the attack was planned ahead of Biplab’s father’s death anniversary which falls on January 4.

Just a day before the death anniversary, the attack on the ancestral house of the former CM by people of a ‘particular community’ is being described as a conspiracy of the CPM.
