Imphal, April 12: Fresh violence erupted in Heirok, located in Manipur’s Thoubal district, as armed miscreants reportedly attacked the area during the early hours of today.

Reports indicate that the armed assailants’ assault prompted a response from the village volunteers, resulting in a clash that left one volunteer injured.
