Itanagar, June 19: Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu took to Twitter to express his happiness and pride as Radha Bangsia from the Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy was selected to represent India at the 19th Asian Games to be held in China.

The selection trials for the Asian Games took place in Gujarat, where Radha Bangsia showcased her exceptional skills and secured her spot in the prestigious event. In addition to Radha Bangsia’s section, Rikpy Nyodu was chosen as a stand-by participant for the Asian Games.

Pema Khandu extended his best wishes to both athletes, acknowledging their talent and hard work. He also expressed his admiration for the Arunachal Taekwondo Association and the Arunachal Olympic Association for their efforts in nurturing and grooming these remarkable athletes.

“My compliments to Arunachal Taekwondo Association & Arunachal Olympic Association as well for grooming the athletes,” said Khandu in his Tweet.
