Dimapur, Jan 18: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently held a crucial meeting with his Nagaland counterpart, Neiphiu Rio, in Dimapur, marking another step towards fostering cooperation between the two states.

Taking to the social media platform X, Chief Minister Sarma shared a snapshot of the meeting and conveyed that the discussions aimed at deepening collaboration and ensuring sustained peace and harmony between Assam and Nagaland.

“Had an excellent meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland Shri Neiphiu Rio ji at Dimapur. We discussed ways to deepen our collaboration and expand our engagements towards continued peace and harmony between both our States,” stated CM Sarma.

This meeting is part of a series of interactions between the Chief Ministers of Assam and Nagaland, reflecting their commitment to addressing shared concerns.
