He clarified that despite circulating reports of BJP candidate lists in the media, no official list had been released by the party.

Sarma emphasized the importance of sourcing candidate information directly from the BJP, cautioning against premature disclosures by the media.

“The BJP has not released any list. That was disclosed by newspapers, not by the BJP,” Sarma affirmed. Assuring the public of forthcoming clarity, he added, “The list has been finalized and it will be released in two or three days or maybe seven days, or even today. This is not in our hands. Delhi is looking after it.”
